Isn't it a shame that so many Paranormal Related Web Sites are spoilt by the Photo Galeries being crammed with photos of Orbs! When are paranormal Invesyigators going to learn that these orbs are nothing more that dust or moisture particles caught in the atmosphere very close to the lens and flash unit. All they are fooling are the people with little or no knowledge of the paranornal or photographic science and themselves!!!
What are your thoughts????

Got to say I always thought that orbs were to do with dust and moisture in the air until I spent a night at Salmesbury Hall near Preston. All the photos that I took that night, apart from 1, showed no orbs at all. But I took one outside the building in the area that the White Lady is believed to show herself and guess what?! Beautiful orbs!!    Weather conditions were clear and dry. I'd've assumed a place like Salmesbury Hall would have thrown up dust on the inside with all that old furniture but I only got clear pictures there.

Going back to your original point though - I do find 'orb' photos boring to look through.

Hi Aurora, I have to say that I used to think that there was too much inportance placed on photos of orbs, but my thoughts are now having to be reviewed. While we find it quite easy to photograph orbs I have to admit that a great many of them are pfotographed while we are picking up on spirit. A typical example of this is on our photo gallery with Marlene pointing out an orb, which is surposed to be invisible to the naked eye. What do you think?

I have to agree with you for that photo - it looks fascinating. But that's because she actually sems to be pointing to it. Most websites just show the orbs that appeared on the photo without the photographer knowing about them. So there is no proof if it's dust or not. I'm more impressed with videos of light anomolies because you can see them moving and seemingly appearing and disappearing.

I'd love to have been there when Marlene pointed out the orbs. That might have helped with my natural scepticism.  :/

Hi Guys,
my grandfather appears as two tiny orbs to me all the time. He can't materialise into any other form. The baby often has orbs around his feet when my grandparents are with me. Recently at Birr castle, a huge number of orbs were photographed in the dungeon part of the castle. The medium who was present was my dear friend Sandra Ramdhanie. She said that the orbs began to gather as she conversed with spirit, and that she got the feeling of old souls from them, but more than this I don't know. Certain orbs are no more than dust, the ones that move extremely quickly are spirits, and the ones seen from the corner of your vision, anything else I would be wary of particularly ones in mirrors, these can actually be visions of your previous self. I will explain later Pete, but orbs are real just need to be separated like all other experiences from ones that are manufactured by the mind and ones that are real.

In reply to Auroras comment on seeing "Orbs" and light anomolies moving try going to the Video Evidence page on the PART of Lancs web site!

I went and had a look at your video area - orbs are much better when they move rather than in a photo!
But I love the poltergeist activity video - that's what I'd like to see first hand so that I could look for wires or magnets, etc or prove that there were no 'smoke and mirrors'.
Also the fact that you took the video in the light pleases me - most people relate paranormal experiences that happened to them during the day - not in the middle of the night using infra-red cameras.
Keep up the good work - it gets me through some dire afternoons in the office!!

Hi Aurora, Thanks for the vote of confidence about the "poltergeist" video. We were sent the videp clip with a request for help. We did the investigation lats Saturday (See our investigation Reports - Investigation and Cleansing, Warrington) where the video was shot. The cleansing was done by Me and Marlene and since then the couple have told us that "it feels like they have their home back". We regularly deal with this sort of thing and, believe me, it is not imaginary or trick photography.
Thanks for using our forum.
